Denbies is a large vineyard nestled amongst the Surrey Hills near Dorking.
You can reach Denbies (RH5 6AA) by:
- Train (South West trains to Dorking Station or Great Western/Southern to Dorking
Deepedene...the vineyard is approx a ten minute walk from either station)
- Road (A24 north of Dorking)...there is plenty of free parking on site.
- Foot (the North Downs Way provides spectacular views of the vineyard from the North
- and of course by bike...
Denbies Vineyard has a cafe selling a variety of hot and cold food and drink and
two shops selling local produce, gifts and wine!
If you arrive at the main building (next to the car park) you will be nearest the
start of the Denbies Duels event. If you wish to view the event at or near to the
finish the most direct access to this area (on foot or by bike) is from Ranmore Common
Road...close to Denbies Farm, although you can make your way from the start to the
finish area by foot or on your bike...please take care if choosing this option.
If you bring a bike to the finish area there will be locations where you can park
Although you can wheel your bike through this route you must not stand with or leave
your bike along the Pedestrian Route down the right hand side of the course (marked
by cones and tape) as viewed from the top of the hill.
Please do not congregate around the area immediately beyond the finish line.
Please respect (and adhere to) the guidance and instructions offered by the marshals
who are acting voluntarily to assist you and the participants in getting the most
from the day.
Please DO shout your encouragement at the riders, enjoy the views and soak up the
atmosphere provided by this exciting event taking place in a spectacular location!
